International Artist of the Month: Jaidene Veda

Every now and again a talented individual comes around and changes the way you see and perceive things. Jaidene Veda has been around for some time. She's featured on a number of hit tracks in the past (Remember when you couldn't stop listening to Sunday - Nick Holder 08 Remix? ) She has worked with the likes of Kafele Bandele, Trancemicsoul, Andy Compton, The Rurals and many more world renowned producers and DJ's. She has also released a number of albums that have received critical acclaim from within house circles such as Pisces Pendulum and its sister release, Pisces Pendulum -  Anniversary Rmx/Lp.

With her sultry and smooth voice she's seduced many house music enthusiasts over the years but now its seems like this star is starting to shine brighter than most. Her latest work includes a track called "Do it For love" on Ralf Gum's latest album titled "Never Leaves You" that he launched and released in South Africa on House Afrika Records (check out the video EPK below). She's also released a track called "Change" (below) with Vibe Boutique Records and it's been on replay ever since, every morning of every day on my Nexus 7 on my way to work.

As part of an effort to self produce and release her next album, JaiVeda Records launched a campaign on Indiegogo that successfully raised more than $6000, double the targeted pledges the campaign sought to raise. I, for one, can't wait to hear it.

If you didn't know JaiVeda before (shame on you) now you do. Check out the videos above and preview the track Do It For Love on my favourite music store, Beatport.

Check her out on her Google+ or on her FaceBook page
