HOUSE SERMON EXPERIENCE

House Sermon Experience: a new born in the club culture.

From a live online radio show to a live event experience. This is the new born event curated by dj and promoter Speech Umlangeni.

The whole concept began as a live radio show on www.liveaux.com where Speech Umlangeni used to render weekly house mixes exclusively on the channel. Here he would blend Afro-deep, Afro-tech, Progressive and techno house sounds from across the globe. After realizing that an hour was not enough to share the music, he then joined hands with Polar Park (Ezulwini) as the first home for the “House Sermon” event experience starting 25th November 2022.

With plans to grow the event, Speech said he will collaborate with more Swazi djs to share their passion as well, and hopes the event becomes a monthly series so to create platforms for fellow creatives as we jet into 2023.

“House Sermon aims at uniting and uplifting the spirit of house music fans, while on the other hand unearthing the genre's producers, djs and vocalists from around the beautiful Kingdom of Eswatini. For this event in particular, we will host it monthly with more details to follow soon. It is strictly a house music only event, and we will be preaching through these events most of the sub-genres of house music, whether mainstream or underground sounds”, elaborated Speech.

Gear up for a whole-night-long musical buffet including Afro-Tech, Soulful, Deep, Techno, Tribal, Gcom and Amapiano sounds.

Spreading the #WordOfHouse on the first sermon are Speech Umlangeni, san-MuShaido, Mtsepisto, Sam K, Hallux SWZ, Soultoniq, DJ Cash, and the venue’s resident spinners, Dj Sixo Dj Piwo, Dj Mavy

Speech also encouraged house music lovers to come through with their friends and arrive on time, so not to miss out on other performances as well as surprises stocked up for the night.

The event is scheduled to start at 4pm till early hours of the next morning. Entrance is only E50 (before 8pm)

and E80 (after 8pm), pre-sale tickets are available online via decklife.events .
