 Pocket phone detox:

And remember to detox from your pocket phone sometimes.

Just put it away and use a bhompompo for a bit.

Get away from the internet, from the socials.

Free the mind from the constant flow of information and visuals.

Don’t over saturate the mind with meaningless scrolling and reacting.

We get lost in a virtual world that we carry in our hands and pockets,

And tend forget the world we carry in our minds, bodies, souls.

We live our lives based on what we are sending and receiving in our pocket phones,

And tend to forget to look up, away from the screen, and into the world.

Into the reality of our being, into the core of our souls.

Somehow the pocket phone is detaching us from ourselves, our circle of people,

Somehow the pocket phone is changing the ways we interact with each other, how we behave.

It is telling us when to react by giving us notifications.

It is telling us how to react by giving us emojis.

And if you dare let its battery run low, it warns you not to let its power off.

You urgently make a plan to plug it in and feed it power, so it keeps feeding off you.

What would happen if you stopped feeding it.

What would happen if you stopped giving it power.

There are answers to those questions.

But they are only found when you detox from the pocket phone.

Put it away for a bit. Look around you. Take in the view.

Look within. Find your inner being. Find your purpose.

Then continue with your pocket phone and keep it moving.
